Senior PHP Developer

Job Context

We are looking for an individual who is confident in their ability to write code from scratch and possesses a keen eye for detecting and correcting code defects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Your Journey & Impact

• At least 5 year of experience of developing, customizing, and maintain web applications using PHP, WordPress, and Magento 2.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code from scratch while following best practices and coding standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Optimize application performance, including database queries and backend processes.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms and devices.
• Maintain and manage code using Git-based version control systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay updated with latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

Education Required

• B.Sc or M.Sc in Computer Science or related subject from a reputed university.

Experience Required

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Thorough understanding of PHP and its core principles
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
• Expert-level proficiency in PHP and its frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns (e.g., MVC, Singleton, Factory)
• Advanced knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP APIs (creation and integration)
• Mastery of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Expertise in building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Advanced debugging, testing, and profiling skills (Xdebug, PHPUnit)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Strong grasp of PHP 8 features and improvements
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Must have good knowledge of JavaScript, PHP, WordPress or Shopify and CSS media Query for Responsive.
• Must know W3C standard valid HTML and CSS coding.
• Must have strong knowledge of UI coding with all modern browser comparability.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
